my wonderous unfurling story

Who Am I?

I’m Kate Penning, and I believe in the great power of truly, authentically feeling comfortable with who I am in every area of my life even if that means being comfortable with feeling uncomfortable!

I grew up on the isolated and dramatic Welsh borders, then at 18 took myself off to Drama School in London for life lessons and a complete change of scenery – pretty much the next day it was as though I’d always lived in the City.

I was working in Paris on a play when I realised how at home I felt wherever I geographically went, how there was always an underlying feeling of being comfortable wherever I was, and it was here I was told the phrase “tout les jour en vacance” meaning “every day is a holiday”, by a magic man on the street who then quite literally disappeared in front of me. His phrase has echoed in my head ever since and now I see the truth of it. Every day does feel like a holiday because I understand my thoughts, emotions, body urges, body aches, destination, heart and purpose. I am free.

Freedom comes from being able to see everything clearly and not get caught up, but at the time I was still making unconscious choices and being pulled around by my thoughts, sensations and emotions.

I was often stuck in stress and unhealthy relating, living with anxiety, wanting more out of life but not being able to reach it. I know very well what it means to get lost in anger, in loneliness, in technology, and sadness, I know how to find vices so that I forget everything for a moment – and yet I’d always had this awareness.

It’s incredible how we are all sat on a treasure chest and we don’t even realise it.

Life Coaching

Life Coaching brings the focus completely onto you, working from where you are we will look at your whole being, and work towards perceiving reality from outside the confines of the mind. Blowing open limiting beliefs by allowing a more truthful view of yourself. Uncovering your gifts, strengths and talents and giving you the encouragement to vision your goals and positivily work towards them.
